The House of Representatives has resolved to do a repeat consideration of three bills, which did not get presidential nod.

They are, Physically Challenged
(Empowerment) Bill, 2019 (HB. 02); Students Loan (Access to Higher Education) Bill, 2019 (HB. 06); and Nigeria Health Infrastructure Development Bank (Establishment, Etc.) Bill, 2020 (HB. 908).

A resolution to revisit the bills was passed during plenary in Abuja on Thursday.

The House, which was presided over by the Speaker, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, explained that “some fundamental issues which require fresh legislative actions had emerged, hence, re-committal of the bills to address the issues.”

The bills were re-committed to the Committee of the Whole, where members would re-consider them.
