Kwara APC has a deplorable effect on our society – PDP

The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State is not surprised to hear the occasional ramblings of ignorance and cluelessness coming from the inept Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

The Kwara PDP notes that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is like a desperate conman trying to turn all the tricks in his bag to a knowledgeable audience.
His rantings is his usual way of announcing his antics of falsehood and propaganda.

On education development, immediate past Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed established IVTEC, Ajase-Ipo, the first of its type in Nigeria, as attested to by the Vice President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who asked other states to emulate Kwara. Also the IVTEC was affiliated to City and Guilds of London. More than 300 students graduated on World Bank sponsorship.

The administration of the PDP in the time past, also constructed the Kwara State University, KWASU Malete, School of Engineering, Malete and the School of Business and Governance, Ilorin.

In a futile attempt to sound tough and knowledgeable, he resort to the use of sensational headlines, spurious initiatives and empty rhetoric.

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and his party, the APC have a deplorable effect on our society – corroding justice, good governance and prosperity.

A man who is insensitive, lacks capacity to govern a state, by not bringing on creative ideas, instead of shallow and dehumanizing plots, that are meant to degrade kwarans and fleece our resources.

As a Party, we ask Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, how many schools has he built since he assumed office? Execept for over bloated and highly inflated renovation contracts, that he awarded to his family and friends.

The Governor is like the dodgiest of used-car salesmen, trying to flog a clapped-out, broken-down model by slapping on a new coat of paint. They are arrogant enough to think that Kwara people will forget all thier fake and failed pre election promises.

As part of contributions to the development of the education sector, the last administration of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed constructed and rehabilitated over 400 block of classrooms at primary and secondary school levels. His administration introduced free tuition and notebooks at senior secondary school level. To expand access to tertiary education in the state, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed also approved the reduction in the tuition fees for Kwara State University (KWASU) students by 30 per cent. One very important question we need to ask Governor Abdulrazaq is, since he came on the stream, what has his administration added to the Osi and Ilesa Baruba campuses of Kwara State University.

How can a party that wishes to be taken seriously, lie to its civil and public servants on salary upgrade, no patronage of local contractors, maladministration, insentivity, and above all, financial recklessness, and now turn around to blame their lack of creative ideas, on the opposition?.

This same Governor, gave another narrative of the UBEC funding in his THISDAY interview which was scripted for him and now he has presented another story!! Which do we believe?

It is truly sad that we find ourselves at this stage where the integrity of goverance can be reduced to this level by a “one chance Governor.”
