Zulum, Shettima lead Borno’s delegation to Sani Dangote’s funeral

Borno Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum alongside Senator Kashim Shettima on Wednesday, led a high-powered delegation to attend Sani Dangote’s funeral in Kano city.

Sani Dangote died on Sunday in a hospital at Miami in the United States of America, after a protracted illness. His funeral held at the Emir of Kano’s Palace.

Alhaji Sani was the Vice President, Dangote Group of Companies, and a younger brother to Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, who has offered the highest individual humanitarian support to Borno in the wake of crises.

Borno’s delegation also comprised Senators Mohammed Ali Ndume and Abubakar Kyari, State Chairman of the APC, Ali Bukar Dalori, Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mohammed Tahir Monguno, and member representing Gwoza/Damboa/Chibok at the House of Representatives, Ahmad Jaha, alongside other Government officials.
