By being tremendously earnest, and not being a sentiment fanatic, and refusal to be a casual-bigot who is informed but chooses to sail in opposite direction to prosperity.
In all predictable determinant, experiences and political interventions and contributions, the People’s Democratic Party, without doubt, has aspirants who are political veterans. However, in all explorations, it takes perseverance and honesty to identify the rightful candidate for the Presidential election, not just for the People’s Democratic Party’s victory, but for the country’s growth and development in all capacity.
Among all credible candidates, there’s an ace, whom providence and experiences have been preparing to pilot the affairs of the nation. If the People’s Democratic Party is not ready to sacrifice capacity and competence for political expediency.
Above all candidates’ intervention, the political ‘personé’ whom dexterity and philosophy of populism and management contributed immensely to the success of the People’s Democratic Party convention. More than that, though, whom interest, from history in national politics was never to micro manage the nation’s resources, and showed how his ideology of governance is different from the perception of people who facilitated the country’s insurgence.
Apparently, since the ‘Obasanjo Regime’, the political figure had managed to match and sustain the former President’s international connection, at his young age, no one has come close to his recognition in Nigeria’s politics across the globe.
It is hard to convince an informed Nigerian that his leadership in the Senate, with commendable amount of his influence and efforts, who was delibrate about growth, and not reluctant about the interest of Nigerians is responsible for the country’s stalled growth in almost every scheme.
He, among the People’s Democratic Party Presidential aspirants has the best experience in a democratic settings to preside over the country’s affairs coated with impunity and ‘witless lubricated’ decisions. A political figure prepared by experiences, possessed with persuasion and negotiation skills, calmness, fairness and intelligence to put the country forward. And with respect to his personality outside the country, and his activeness in capacity building.
Amidst the political crisis which he had rugged with the past National Assembly, what he doesn’t get right, he made up for and subsequently, put forward his clear intentions and plans to sustain the country within his jurisdiction. All thanks to the 8th Assembly Executives for their job in proving all efforts abortive.
Saraki, a medical doctor, once a bank CEO, once a personal assistant to a former President, a two-termed Governor that became the chairman of the Governorship forum, a two-termed Senator who eventually became the Senate and Chairman of NASS among all other successfully managed positions, is dutifully qualified as a veteran politician.
With all the positions held and managed, among other aspirants who have little perception of governance, is a significant one to watch out for. Although, several allegations have been raised against him, however, one must note that he was cleared of all charges. And, allegations outrightly does not mean conviction, and it’s important the electorates are delibrate about being informed.
While with his status quo in politics and governance, maintaining his intelligence addressing the NASS over wrongfully made decisions, his percieved personality and attitude towards the country’s growth further earned him several names and criticism by the ruling party ‘unhappy to be corrected’ media bots. Saraki remains tactful, and indispensable in the country’s political structure.
All known to the informed, his perception on economy, education, security, love for youths inclusiveness, and his activeness in making the country a debt free nation remain unmatched, compared with other aspirants whom impeccable attitude towards governance remains hazy.
With his plans, and experiences at his age that’s quitely preferable among the People’s Democratic Party Presidential candidates, should a credible candidate be given the chance to represent, it would judiciously send a clear message to Nigerians that the country is ready to break out of bondage.
Also, Nigeria would be a much better place if we can take responsibility for our flippant and ill repute towards the political ‘personé’, and acknowledge the competence, foresight, and capacity in his grip.
