Saraki Celebrates Emir of Ilorin at 85, Praises Legacy of Unity and Service

Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has congratulated His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin, on the occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary.

According to his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, Dr. Saraki described the Emir as a royal pillar of forthrightness, dedication, and strong traditional values, who has demonstrated extraordinary capacity, leading from the front with his wisdom and foresight. Dr. Saraki said:

“Today, I join the entire Ilorin Emirate and well-wishers around the world to celebrate His Royal Highness, Mai Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin, on his 85th birthday.”

The Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate also acknowledged the Emir’s nearly three decades of impactful service, strengthening unity, safeguarding cultural heritage, and championing peace and development across Kwara State and Nigeria.

“Your Royal Highness, for nearly three decades on the throne you have strengthened our unity, safeguarded our rich cultural heritage, and championed peace and development across Kwara State and our nation.

“As you mark another year, I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants you continued good health, deeper wisdom, and many more years of impactful service to our people and our nation,” Saraki prayed.
