The Pakata Area Development Association (PADA) has publicly commended Hon. Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Youth Development, for his sustained philanthropic support targeting vulnerable residents in the community.

PADA President, Mallam Murtala Alowonle, led the praise during a cash empowerment event held on Tuesday, where financial assistance sponsored by Abdullahi was distributed to struggling local traders, predominantly women.

“Hon. Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi has consistently demonstrated his commitment to supporting our people, especially those facing economic hardship,” stated Alowonle during the presentation in Pakata, Ilorin. “This cash support will significantly boost the capital of these traders and empower them economically.”

Alowonle urged the beneficiaries to utilize the funds judiciously for their businesses, aligning with the donor’s intent. He further called on other affluent indigenes of Pakata to emulate Abdullahi’s model of patriotism and philanthropy, emphasizing that aiding the less privileged is both a civic responsibility and a religious duty.

Mrs. Suebat Gidado, speaking on behalf of the grateful beneficiaries, expressed profound appreciation to Abdullahi for the timely intervention. She also thanked the PADA leadership for administering the empowerment scheme transparently and fairly.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including members of the PADA Executive Council and Alhaji Amuda Yusuf Mahmood, representing the Alangua Ubandawaki Ward of Pakata.
