Oyo Govt Trains Volunteers For COVID-19 Decontamination Exercise

The Oyo State Government commenced training of 137 volunteers who are students of the University of Ibadan for the containment and decontamination exercise on Thursday.

The Head of the Oyo State COVID-19 Containment and Decontamination Committee; Professor Olanike Adeyemo (Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships, University of Ibadan) made it known that the decontamination exercise will be conducted by volunteers selected through the Students Union Body.

The Committee will receive technical training support for the volunteers from the University.

The decontamination process will be conducted in strategic ways by targeting locations with confirmed cases of COVID-19.
