The Office of the First Lady of Lagos State, Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu has commenced the second phase of distribution of relief materials to the less privileged by targeting Non-Governmental Organisations taking care of people with special needs.

In a statement issued today by the Office of the First Lady, the Director, Public Affairs, Mrs. Olubukonla Nwonah said a total of 18 homes for the needy were visited across the five divisions of the State – Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island and Epe – and were given items including Sanitisers and Food Packs containing bags of Rice and Beans, Noodles, Spaghetti, Macaroni and Semovita.

The statement maintained that the Office, in collaboration with the NGOs, is working round the clock to ensure that these items get to as many people as possible so that those in need are comfortable, especially during the lockdown period.

It, therefore, implored Lagosians to continue to observe regular handwashing with soap, indulge in social distancing and comply with the stay-at-home directive.
