Governor Bala to flag off more road projects

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi state, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed says his administration will soon award contract for roads construction in Bauchi metropolis.

The proposed roads are; Central Market to Yakubu Wanka, Karofin Madaki to Railway, Prison-Shagari to Railway and Bata to Unguwan Jaki.

Others are Ganjuwa/Jaja to Jahun, Central Market through Sarkin Kasuwa’s Residence to Wunti.

Governor Bala stated this yesterday while flagging off the construction of four roads measuring about 26 kilometres at the sum of N13,612,797,248.06.

The Special Guest of Honor and National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus acknowledged the massive transformation currently going on in the state capital and as well as it’s other parts, said Governor Bala is putting smiles on faces of the people of the state.

The National Chairman added that the party leadership is proud with the performance of the Governor describing Bauchi as the centre of excellence in democracy.

Also speaking, the Chairman, PDP Governor’s Forum and Governor of Sokoto State, His Excellency, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto said the road projects are timely.

Tambuwal hailed Governor Bala for execution of developmental projects, adding that Bauchi State is taking a new shape under Governor Bala’s watch.
