Sanwo-Olu enjoins Public Servants to embrace strategic planning for quality service delivery

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has called on Public Officers in the State to fully embrace the culture of Strategic Thinking and Planning to ensure delivery of qualitative service to the over 22 million residents of the State.

Sanwo-Olu made the call while addressing the top management staff of the State Ministry of Justice during an unscheduled visit to the venue of its three-day Management Retreat on Saturday 22nd May 2021, at Victoria Island, Lagos.

He enjoined the Law Directors to evolve new legal initiatives in Justice Administration that will assist the State government in addressing the demands and challenges of a growing city like Lagos.

While commending the Ministry, which is the largest Law Chamber in Sub-Saharan Africa for its recent achievements, Sanwo-Olu reminded them of the greater task ahead of the administration, particularly in the areas of law reform and provision of easier and better access to justice for residents in Lagos State.

The Management retreat had presentations from seasoned legal luminaries and technocrats including Professor Gbolahan Elias (SAN), Dr. Olaniwun Ajayi (SAN), Mr. Sam Egube, Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Mrs. Ajibola Ponle, Commissioner for Establishment, Training and Pensions; Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo, Commissioner for Education and Mr. Abiodun Bamgboye, Permanent Secretary, Local Government Commission.
