The upgraded Citizens’ Delivery Tracker App, designed to allow Nigerians to oversee government projects, has officially launched. Special Adviser To The President on Policy and Coordination, Hadiza Bala-Usman, unveiled the app in Abuja on Monday, highlighting its immediate accessibility at app.cdcu.gov.ng and its upcoming availability on Google Play Store and Apple Store within the next month.

The innovative application, developed by the Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU) in collaboration with various stakeholders, offers citizens insights into priority projects, policies, and programs of the Federal Government.

Bala-Usman emphasized that the app establishes a “strong feedback loop between citizens and government” regarding the eight priority areas of the President Bola Tinubu-led administration.

She remarked, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu pledged at the Cabinet Retreat for Ministers, Presidential Aides, Permanent Secretaries, and Top Government Functionaries in November 2023 that the Federal Government would enhance the CDCU and involve citizens in monitoring and performance management. I’m pleased to announce that this promise has been fulfilled with the launch of the upgraded Citizens’ Delivery Tracker App today.”

Bala-Usman further explained, “The CDCU, with the support of development partners and consultants, engaged in numerous bilateral meetings with all ministers, Permanent Secretaries, and technical teams over six weeks to define deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the Presidential Priority Areas.”

She emphasized the importance of Nigerians’ involvement in the delivery assessment on these priority areas, stating, “President Tinubu is committed to an inclusive government where Nigerians actively participate in governance for the betterment of the country.”
