Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Wednesday alongside teacher Baba Clarkson Bansi commissioned a 4km Jada township road in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa state.
According to the Governor, the 4km Jada township road is a standard asphalt finished road completed with concrete-lined drains to ensure efficiency and serviceability to the people.
By this development, the Governor, popularly known as Mr. Infrastructure by his admirers has successfully constructed and commissioned 347km rural roads across the state, through his policy on Rural Infrastructure and Community Development.
Rural roads constructed and commissioned are: the 12 Km Tongo – Kirri Road; 9.3 Km Mayo-belwa – Gongoshi Road; 17 Km Shelleng – Bakta Road; 8 Km Numan – Bare Road; and many others in the Southern Zone.
His Excellency who was elated by his accomplishments within three years in office said Adamawa citizens have given him enough that he can’t finish paying back. He explained that, “the 2019 mandate is a debt we shall continue paying back to the entire electorates of Adamawa State with life-changing projects till our last day in office”.
In their separate remarks, the Commissioners of Works and Energy Development, Hon. Adamu Atiku, Youths and Sports Hon. Aloycious Baba Doke as well as Baba Clarkson lauded governor Fintiri for the projects and prayed for blessings and God’s guidance upon the life of the administration.
Among the dignitaries that attend the event are members House of Assembly, SSG Malam Bashir Ahmad, Chief of Staff Government House, Professor Maxwell Gidado, commissioners, and advisers among top government officials.
