Ramadan: Akeredolu Greets Muslims

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, felicitates with Muslims in the state for witnessing the begginging of yet another Ramadan fasting.

The Governor charges all Islamic faithful to pray fervently during this fasting period for Allah’s mercy to end the COVID-19 pandemic across the country.

Arakunrin Akeredolu says the sacrifice occasioned by intense prayers and fasting must be expended on pleadings to the Creator of man and the world to intervene and restore total healing to our land and amongst mankind.

The Governor wants Muslims to continue to observe all government’s directives including the ban of large gathering, social distancing, regular washing of hands with soap and running water, use of hand sanitizer and proper self hygiene.

While urging them to pray at home, the Governor calls for intense prayers for those battling with the COVID-19 affliction and the health workers who are at the front line of this battle to preserve mankind.
