Payment Of Monthly Stipends For 6,300 Commences In Adamawa

The 300 beneficiaries of empowerment programme from each of 21 local government areas in Adamawa have started receiving their monthly stipends.

This programme is being coordinated by the Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency PAWECA across the 21 local government areas under the ministry of entrepreneur development.

Furthermore, the Ward Exco of the People’s Democratic Party PDP have also started enjoying the monthly stipends earmarked for them.

All these poverty alleviation programmes are being initiated by the Fintiri led administration to eradicate poverty and improve socioeconomic growth of the state.

Interestingly, Governor Fintiri is empowering youths and women with the aim of making them self-reliant at a time when the economy of the country in in shambles.
