Ovie Omo-Agege: President Tinubu Addressing Nigeria’s Challenges, Urges Patience and Support

Ovie Omo-Agege, former deputy Senate president, emphasized President Bola Tinubu’s efforts in tackling Nigeria’s challenges, urging citizens to offer continued support. He expressed optimism about Tinubu’s economic prowess and called for patience during the nation’s transformation.

Omo-Agege, speaking in Effurun, Delta state, acknowledged the initial hurdles faced by Tinubu’s administration, assuring that improvements are underway despite temporary setbacks. He stressed the importance of public backing for the President’s initiatives, citing tangible progress in economic stabilization, particularly in foreign exchange management. Omo-Agege highlighted Tinubu’s strategic team selections, pointing to familiar faces in critical roles like Cardoso as CBN Governor and Edun as Finance Minister.

Regarding infrastructure, Omo-Agege praised Tinubu’s commitment to the coastal road project, a significant venture for the south-south region. Despite concerns about costs, Omo-Agege defended the project’s long-term benefits, emphasizing its innovative construction for lasting impact and minimal maintenance needs.

Omo-Agege stated, “My message to Nigerians is that they should continue to pray for the President. They should continue to support the President. He means well to our people.”

Regarding the coastal road project, he remarked, “The president is doing a great job and Nigerians are going to applaud him soonest.”
