Olusin of Ijara Isin Congratulates Emir of Ilorin on 30th Anniversary of Ascension to the Throne

The Olusin of Ijara Isin, Oba (Pharm.) Ajibola Ademola Julius De Lion King, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, on the celebration of his 30th anniversary on the throne.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by the Olusin, he described the Emir’s three-decade reign as a remarkable testament to dedication, wisdom, and selfless service to the people of Ilorin Emirate and the entire Kwara State.

Oba Ajibola lauded the Emir’s commitment to peace, justice, and progress, noting that his leadership has brought unity and development to the state.

“As you celebrate this remarkable achievement, I am reminded of the special bond we share,” the Olusin wrote. “Your Royal Highness, you have always fondly referred to me as ‘Jibril’, even before I ascended the throne as the Olusin of Ijara Isin. This gesture has always endeared me to you, and I am grateful for the affection and respect we share.”

He prayed for Allah’s continued guidance, good health, and long life for the Emir as he continues to lead with wisdom and dignity.

“Happy 30th anniversary, Your Royal Highness,” the Olusin concluded.

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, ascended the throne in 1995 and has since been a unifying figure in Kwara State, widely respected for his intellect, statesmanship, and commitment to the preservation of culture and tradition.
