Godwin Obaseki has emerged the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Edo State after the conclusion of the party primaries.
This was confirmed in a congratulatory message issued on the official PDP facebook page.
“We congratulate H. E. @GovernorObaseki on his emergence as the candidate of the @OfficialPDPNig in the September 19, 2020 governorship election in Edo state. We call on all stakeholders, other party members to work together for the success of our party in the election”.
Recall that Governor Obaseki recently decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after he had a fallout with the leadership of his former political party, All Progressive Congress (APC).
