Kwara State Elevates Judicial Comfort: Governor Presents Top-of-the-Range Vehicles to High Court Judges

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq elevated the comfort of judges at the state High Court by presenting 11 top-of-the-range Toyota Fortuner Jeeps, with Chief Judge Hon. Justice Abiodun Ayodele Adebara receiving a 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser for office use. This move underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing the judiciary’s efficiency and morale, with additional vehicles allocated to upcoming appointments.

Speaking at the official presentation in Ilorin, Hon. Justice Adebara noted, “His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been treating our requests with despatch in positive ways. What we are witnessing today is another positive impact of his administration.” These procurements, funded by the 2023 and 2024 budgets, fulfill the National Judicial Council’s requirements for judge appointments.

Justice Adebara highlighted the significance of new vehicles, emphasizing their role in maintaining the dignity of judges’ offices and enhancing their job efficiency. He expressed gratitude for the governor’s swift response to judiciary needs and anticipated similar support for pending vehicle allocations.
