Governor Fintiri Flags Off Upgrade And Completion Of Dumne Cottage Hospital

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has flagged off upgrade and completion of Dumne Cottage Hospital which was abandoned forty years.

Governor Umaru Fintiri at the ceremony at Demne on Tuesday said the project that has lingered on groundbreaking breaking in 1981.

He added that leaving a project of this nature almost buried for 40 years is nothing short of a collective embarrassment however charitable “we want to qualify it.”

The Governor further said it becomes more embarrassing when one considers the central role the project is expected to play in the lives and livelihood of our people.

The Commissioner of Health and Human Services, Professor Abdullahi Isa said the project when completed will help Dumne Community.

There were goodwill messages from Doctor Mustafa Saidu Member representing Fufore, Song Federal Constituency, Mr Simon Isa Member House of assembly, Doctor Edgar Amos Sunday Head of service Adamawa state, Gidado Abdussalam Chairman song local government and commissioner for Rural infrastructure and community development Hon. Abdullahi Prambe among others.
