Governor Fintiri applauds Ganye Chiefdom for Turbaning Six Illustrious Sons

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Saturday alongside secretary to the government of federation Boss Gida Mustafa, former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar attended the turban ceremony of his chief of staff, professor Maxwell Gidado as Dan Masanin Ganye Commissioner for Works and energy development Alhaji Adamu Atiku (Sardauna Ganye), Hon. Abdulmumini Mapindi (Durbin Ganye)Barrister Lilian Stephen (Miwoba Ganye), Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar (Jakadan Ganye), and Rashida Al Mustafa (Jakadiyar Ganye)at Ganye Chiefdom.

The Governor congratulated the new titleholders for meriting and deserving to be bestowed with their various titles.

Elated at their conferment, the governor stated that all of them possess the requisite requirements to be admitted to serve the Ganye Chiefdom in traditional offices.

He considers it as a vote of confidence and assurance of high esteem his administration has endeared.

“It’s also a reassurance that trust is intact and an affirmation that the government is on the right track.

“As a responsible governments we are committed to ideals of community governance, which can only be attained through constructive engagement with traditional institutions” he pointed out.

The Governor equally congratulates His royal highness Ganwari Ganye, Alhaji Umar Adamu Sanda over the historic feat of turbaning six illustrious sons and daughters of Ganye Chiefdom.

In a remark the Ganwari Ganye, Alhaji Umar Adamu Sanda said they were conferred with the titles in recognition of the amazing roles they have been playing in promoting the goals of the Ganye Chiefdom over the years.

He stressed the Ganye chiefdom will continue to give honour to whom it’s due pointing that the conferment of the titles will serve as a source of inspiration to others, which is worthy of emulation.

Responding on behalf of the titleholders professor Maxwell Gidado thanks and appreciate Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustafa, former vice president Atiku Abubakar among others.
