His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed today signed into law, the 2021 budget appropriation.
Signing the approved budget at the Banquet Hall, Government House Bauchi thanked members of the State lawmakers for the timely passage of the budget within ten days.
The 2021 budget is larger than that of the 2021 so as to consolidate on the gains of his administration.
He promised timely implementation of the budget and commended the working relationship between the legislature and the executive.
Governor Bala said his administration will continue to work with critical stakeholders to access funds for execution of developmental projects across the state.
Presenting the budget, the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Honorable Abubakar Y Suleiman said the Honorable House will continue to support the Executive to provide dividends of democracy to citizens.
He said the timely passage of the budget is part of their support to the state government.
The signing of the 2021 budget had in attendance, His Excellency, the Deputy Governor, Senator Baba Tela, Emirs of Katagum, Misau and Dass, Principal Officers of the State Assembly, SSG, Chief Judge, Chief of Staff, Honorable Commissioners among others.
