His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed received in audience, the management of the Bauchi State Branch of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Governor Bala said the CBN as partners in progress with his administration will leaverage on the various interventions of the Bank for the benefit of the people of the State.
He added that the State Government will continue to work with the Bank and other partners for the economic development of the State.
The Governor also agreed to partner with the CBN on other possible areas of collaboration aimed at boosting the GDP of the State’s economy.
He appreciated the Bauchi Branch of the Bank for supporting the citizens of the State especially farmers and other business community.
Earlier, the Branch Controller, of the CBN Alhaji Haladu Idris said the visit to Governor Bala was to seek for a strong partnership and collaboration for the development of the State.
He informed the Governor that the CBN as part of its corporate social responsibility, has rendered a lot of financial assistance to Bauchi.
Haladu Idris disclosed the CBN’s plans to establish an international diagnosis center in Bauchi State.
The Branch Controller thanked Governor Bala for providing them with land for the project.
