Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Saturday joined President Muhammadu Buhari and his counterparts across the country to perform the wreath laying ceremony in honor of the Nation’s fallen heroes in commemoration of the twenty twenty one Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
The event took place at the Mahmud Ribadu Square, Yola, Adamawa State.
Other dignitaries that laid the wreaths at the event included the representatives of the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Hon. Pwamwakaine Mackondo and the State Chief Judge Nathan Musa.
Service commanders in Adamawa and the representative of Lamido Adamawa Doctor Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha also joined in the wreath laying ceremony.
Armed Forces Remembrance Day is celebrated on 15 of January annually to honor Nigeria’s fallen heroes, veterans and those serving in various peace operations across the world.
