Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Tuesday flagged off the construction of a 4.8km township road in Demsa with a promise to commence work on a cottage hospital in the area soon.
Similarly, at the flag-off of the 2km Lamurde township road, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said the current administration is focused on fulfilling its mandate of making the state great again.
While also in Guyuk, the Governor flagged off the construction of a 3.55km township road.
The Governor also pleaded with people to rally round PDP candidates in the forthcoming local government election.
Earlier, the Commissioner of Works and Energy Development, Adamu Atiku Abubakar had disclosed that the township road is part of the government’s intervention in the area, maintaining that the Governor has transversed all nooks and crannies of the state awarding projects, assuring the commitment of the technical staff of the ministry to ensure quality projects delivery.
He stated that the Fintiri-led administration will go down in history as a Government that has changed narratives due to its consistent success in areas such as health, education, infrastructure and urban renewal development.
In separate remarks, Albert Dabara and Dauda Tineke on behalf of the communities expressed gratitude to the Governor for touching the lives of the people through development strides promising to support him for continuity come 2023.
Among the dignitaries that accompanied the Governor is the chief of staff Government house professor Maxwell Gidado, Members of the National and state assemblies, commissioners, and advisers among others.
