Gov Fintiri charges transition committee to carry everybody along, improve on security

In the interest of the people, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Thursday has charged transition committee Chairmen to restructure their localities’ security architecture.

In the Council Chambers of Government House in Yola, the Governor was speaking during an interactive session with the chairmen.

The Governor convened the interactive session to discuss, among other things, the chairmen’s primary responsibility and to re-strategize ahead of the state’s upcoming local council elections.

Fintiri emphasized the importance of enhancing their respective communities’ security architecture.

Even though the government is a continuous process, the Governor warned them against undertaking projects that would take longer than three months to complete.

He urged them to collaborate and work with stakeholders in their communities to ensure that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) maintains its dominance and wins the upcoming local government elections.

Engr Suleman Ahmed GK the ALGON Chairman of the Transition Committees Forum, praised the Governor’s leadership style for achieving unprecedented progress across the state.

Governor Fintiri had entrusted them with such responsibility, and the ALGON Chairman thanked him and promised not to let him down.

He promised to work with the party’s executives and stakeholders to ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming elections, as well as to be good ambassadors for the Fintiri administration.
