His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, last night received two more defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) into the fold of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the State.
Those received by the governor alongside the State Chairman of the PDP, Chief Solomon Agwuana were Hon. Shopboy Emmanuel from Ekeremor Local Government Area and Hon. Selemieyesegha Ebiki Faithful from Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.
Hon. Shopboy is a former Chairman, Alabeni Rural Development Authority and former State Assistant Secretary of PDP Bayelsa state.
Hon. Selemieyesegha Ebiki Faithful, who hails from Olugbobiri community was former Caretaker Chairman, Southern Ijaw LGA during the Timipre Sylva’s administration.
Governor Diri has appreciated them for returning to their original party, the PDP and to support his Prosperity Administration.
Others who joined the governor to receive them were the Chairman, Bayelsa State Physical Planning and Development Board, Alabo Gideon Ekeuwei and Technical Adviser on Federal Projects, Hon. Basil Kenbo.
