HE Governor Mai Mala Buni on Saturday attended the ‘Janaiza’ funeral prayers for the late Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and other army officers who died in a plane crash yesterday in Kaduna.
Gov. Buni just recently in continuation of his contact and mobilization efforts visited the late COAS soliciting for reinforcement of manpower and equipment to effectively fight the resurgence of insurgency in the state.
Buni had earlier in a statement mourned the late COAS and the other army officers who died in the crash.
The Governor prayed God Almighty to forgive the shortcomings of the late officers and grant them eternal rest.
