APC stakeholders across the country have continued to express excitement with the list of nominees submitted by the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as members of the inauguration committee.
Influential groups within the ruling party, including The Progressive Forum (TPF), Emerging Progressives Stakeholders (EPS) and the Northern Progressives Agenda (NPA) have all praised Asiwaju Tinubu for coming up with what they described as a “hopeful list” that signals a new dawn for youth political inclusion.
The Progressive Forum (TPF), earlier in a statement, commended Asiwaju Tinubu for already given an indication that he would lead a youth-friendly administration, considering the prominence of resourceful young people numbering about 10 on the 14-member list.
The young men and women on the list, who are also committed and progressive-minded party members include; Hon. Stella Okotete (Planning and Monitoring); Donald Wokoma (Protocol and Invitations); Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed Kabir (Transport and Logistics); Makinde Araoye (Venue and Swearing in); Dr. Betta Edu (Medical); Abuh Andrew Abuh (Accommodation); Barr. Zainab Buba Marwa (Pre-Inauguration Dinner/Gala Night) and Samira Saddik (Children’s Day Celebration).
Adjudged as a comprehensive list which took into account diverse interests, Asiwaju Tinubu was applauded for balancing the nominations in a way that Northerners, Southerners, Christians, Muslims, women, men, young people and older people are all carried along.
The list of inauguration committee members unveiled earlier in the day was greeted with huge excitement, with mostly youth stakeholders and groups commending the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for already given hope to multitude of young party members across the country.
