Eid-el-Fitri: Bolaji Abdullahi felicitates with Muslim Ummah

Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has congratulated the Muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the occasion of the Eid-el-fitri festival.

Abdullahi charges all adherents of the Islamic faith to retain the virtues and lessons of the holy month, and to sustain the love shown to one another during the fasting season.

“I facilitate and congratulate all Muslim faithful in Nigeria and beyond on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration. May Allah (SWT) accepts all our acts of Ibadah and reward us with His abiding mercies.

The former Minister, popularly known as Omoluabi, also charged Muslims across the country to remember to pray for the unity, progress and continued safety of the country, especially in the face of the Corona virus pandemic currently ravaging the world.

While calling on Nigerians to continue to adhere to health advisories given by the relevant authorities; the former minister also emphasizes the need for consistent personal hygiene as a precaution against the COVID-19 virus.

While acknowledging the negative impact of Covid-19 outbreak on the economy in general and specifically on household and individual incomes; Abdullahi urges well-meaning individuals to continue to support the less privileged especially in this season of festive celebration.
