Barrister Lukman Ajisafe, Emerges PDP National Vice Chiarman, South West Zone

Barrister Lukman Ajisafe, has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Vice Chairman South West Zone. Barr Ajisafe was elected on January 25, 2024 at the Thursday’s Zonal Congress and stakeholders’ meeting of the zone in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The election of the new National Vice Chairman was as a result of the vacancy that occurred after the untimely demise of its former occupier, the late Hon Olasoji Adagunodo in 2023.

Making the declaration after the zonal meeting, the host Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde said, “the major outcome of this meeting is that now the south west PDP is fully united, and we have a new national vice chairman in the person of Engineer, Barrister Lukman Ajisafe.

While reacting to newsmen on his emergence, the party’s new national vice chairman (south west) Barrister Ajisafe expressed gratitude to the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde and his counterpart in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, for their leadership roles and for making it possible for him to emerge as the new national vice chairman of the party.

He also thanked the party’s Deputy National Chairman (south), Amb Taofeek Arapaja for his unrelenting support for the party and for the success of the Congress.
