Adamawa Fityanul Islam Endorses Fintiri For Second Term

The Adamawa State Chapter of Fitiyanul Islam of Nigeria has endorsed Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for reelection ahead of the general elections in 2023.

Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Modibbo, the organization’s state chairman, revealed this during a courtesy visit to the governor in the council chambers of the government house in Yola.

He praised Governor Fintiri’s leadership style and all of the state government’s efforts to the organization and promised that they would continue to work together.

The chairman announced that the members had unanimously approved the governor as their candidate for the 2023 elections, and he was prayed for to continue to lead the state’s seat of power.

Additionally contributing, Alhaji Bashir Tahir, the organization’s state secretary, described the association as an international Islamic movement with operational offices spread out throughout the state’s 21 local government areas while providing a brief history of the organisation.

The state’s growth, according to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, is of utmost importance to him, and this is what led to the advancements shown during the past three years of his administration.

He emphasized that through reforms in health, infrastructure, education, and human capital, the administration is committed to ensuring the security, peace, unity, and growth of the state.

He said that the government had made a lot of progress because of the public’s backing, adding that democracy is beneficial but only when it is being led by trustworthy and devoted individuals.

He was grateful for the prayers and support of both Christian and Muslim clergy assuring them of the government’s backing for the spread of their religious activities.
