The Adekunle Oyedepo Foundation, earlier today made their maiden donation of 100 litres of Petrol at the Children Specialist Hospital, Ilorin.

This was done following an initial visit to the hospital by the founder of the foundation, Adekunle Oyedepo where he realised that one of the major challenges faced by the health centre is lack of constant electricity to run the facility.

In his discussion with the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Fakayode, the CMD disclosed that the power situation in the area is so terrible that the primary source of electricity for the hospital is generator.

This confirmed what the founder of the foundation discovered when he visited the hospital about 2 weeks ago on a personal purpose and a mother of a patient was asked to go and get petrol as there was no enough petrol to run the generator.

The CMD, as well as staff of the hospital thanked the foundation for the kind gesture of providing petrol for the centre, which they said would be a huge relief for the hospital in terms of powering their generator and providing electricity for the centre.

The founder of the foundation also used the opportunity to appeal to well-meaning individuals within the state to come to the aid of the hospital, noting that the government cannot do all.

He also expressed the willingness of his foundation to do more in the area of supporting healthcare centres that are faced with a challenge or the other across Kwara State.
