After joining Eid-el-Fitr prayers, President Bola Tinubu emphasized the importance of hope in his administration’s efforts to improve Nigerians’ lives. He stated, ”The Renewed Hope Agenda is alive, well, and fine, and Nigerians should continue to be very hopeful. Without hope, there is no salvation.”

Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, highlighted Tinubu’s call for patriotism and the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at bringing prosperity to citizens.

During Eid celebrations, Tinubu encouraged Nigerians to extend the values of sacrifice and resilience beyond Ramadan and prioritize love for their country. He said, ”The resilience and sacrifice that we have shown and made during these months should be preserved. Be a kind and cheerful giver.

“We must love our country more than any other country because that is the only one we have.

”We must continue to protect the integrity of our government and leadership… Without hope, there is no development. Without hope, there is no life. Eid Mubarak,’’ Tinubu said after the Eid-el-Fitr prayers led by Sheikh Sulaiman Abou-Nolla, Lagos State Chief Imam.

In his sermon, Chief Imam Sheikh Sulaiman Abou-Nolla urged Nigerians to shun violence, ensure peaceful co-existence, and have faith in the country. “Let us not forget our brothers and sisters in Gaza and other areas of conflict.”

He also called on leaders to alleviate the suffering of the less privileged and prayed for President Tinubu’s guidance, wisdom, and protection, as well as peace and stability in Nigeria.
