As the Emir of Ilorin, HRH, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari marks 26 years on the throne of his forefathers, former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki felicitates the foremost traditional ruler, the Royal family and the people of Ilorin Emirate on this auspicious occasion.
Saraki in a statement released by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, described the Emir as a revered monarch, bridge builder, symbol of peace, unity and the custodian of the rich culture and traditions of the Ilorin Emirate.
The former Senate President who is also the Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate, extolled the adorable leadership qualities of the Emir while also commending his dedication to the welfare of his subjects and the development of Ilorin and Kwara State as a whole.
He prayed to Allah to grant the monarch longer life in good health, strength and wisdom to enable him to continue to serve Him, the great people of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria and humanity.
