Secondus, Tambuwal flag off road projects in Bauchi

The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Prince Uche Secondus alongside His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal today flagged off the construction of four different roads measuring about 26 kilometres at the sum of N13,612,797,248.06 only.

The roads are ; Giwo Academy to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport along Kano Road; Awala Hotel Roundabout to Bauchi State University, Yuli Campus which is about 7km.

Others are Mobil Roundabout to Fire Service junction and Dogon Yaro Roundabout to Zaranda Hotel.

While flagging off the projects at the Giwo Academy, National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus commended Governor Bala for initiating projects will make impact positively on the lives of the citizens of Bauchi State.

Prince Uche Secondus said by the time the roads are completed, Bauchi State will take its centre space in the North East subregion.

The PDP National Chairman believes that the projects if completed, will boost economic activities, particularly in the tourism sector.

On his part, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto said the landmark projects of Governor Bala especially roads will ease traffic in the sprawling urban environment.

Governor Bala Muhammad during the occasion appealed to the people of the state irrespective of party to give maximum support and cooperation to his administration for the successes of the state.
